Well, here it is. The new site is finally functioning. And I know it isn't much different than any other blog at this point, but it's a work in progress. I have big plans for this tiny speck on the web, and in the coming months you will see them develop.
I will add audio and video, there will be more photos, T-shirt offers and even a link to Jerry's radio show when the online feed is up and running so you can hear his take on things like dropping a tree on my face.
The most exciting aspect of this site for me is that it enables anyone to comment. You don't need to sign in, but if you'd like to link to your own blog or website, there's a space for that.
I considered waiting until everything was perfect, but a January 1, 2007, launch date seemed perfect in itself. And most of you are accustomed to watching me stumble through life, so why not watch me stumble through this, too?
And none of this would be possible without countless hours of work from my aunt Glrr, so lots of love and thanks to her for creating my vision and putting up with all my tech-tardedness. You rock my mousepad.
Here's to a web-worthy 2007. I hope many of you continue this journey with me.
