Brought to you by the letter 'B'

Jerry and I have yet to take my 16 week belly shot, but it has
grown significantly since this picture was taken on a walk near
our house. This little river prompts our flood insurance premium.

Speaking of babies, a momma robin built a nest in the flower vines
surrounding my mother-in-law's pool. There are four birds in there.

Last night, Jerry and I went to a minor-league baseball game because
I won two tickets from my office. Our seats were awesome, but they
were in the direct sun for awhile. Jer and I decided to cool off with
some banana split-flavored Dippin Dots. They stuck to Jerry's lips.

Once the sun went down, it was much better. The stadium is one
of the nicest in the AA league. It overlooks a local amusement park.

You can sort of see the lights of the roller coaster in the background.

When we got home, we decided to give Toby a long-overdue bath.
Here is Toby's last plea to get Jerry to change his mind.

Wet dog.

All of my friends must know by now that if they send me a photo,
it is potential fodder for my blog, so Gisela, um, don't hate me.
I just loved three shots so much that I had to post them. Here is
Gisela with her dog, Lola, at a beach near Philadelphia.

I have been told that tennis balls are Lola's favorite.

I can't possibly come up with the words to capture the caliber of
awesomeness of this photo. It may be worthy of my desktop image.

I can't help but comment on the first pic. I grew up on Park Avenue by Ferner Field....this looks painfully similar to the walks I was used to as a this the Little Juniata River unnder the bridge on Park?!

You're looking great! Okay, and that last picture is priceless.

Now I want to go to the beach. Badly.

That picture with the scuba gear on was awesome. Definitely worthy of some desktop love.

The river is nice. Flood insurance is a pain though. How on Earth did she get the dog to be ok with the scuba mask on his face? :)

Wow you look amazing!! And the dogs were pretty damn cute, too. So when do we find out if it's a boy or girl?? The suspense is too much!

I love a photo post! The last picture is definitely priceless!

Gisela and Lola were made for each other. What other dog would submit to having snorkle gear placed on her head, and what other dog owner would think of it in the first place? :)

Scuba dog = too cute. said...

That looks like Scuba Steve's dog.

Mascot of the Secret Scuba Squad!

(my cable has been playing the hell outta Big Daddy)

I just wish the last weekend in July would hurry up. I need my vacation time. :(

You look great! Minor league baseball games are fun because you never know who you'll see!

Quick question, what do you wear at the newspaper office? Sorry to ask but I have a meeting/lunch/informal event at the newspaper by me and I have no clue what to wear!

You look amazing! And I remember going on field trips to the minor league baseball games here, but it always rained! The last picture is super cute too.

Business first: Even before all those hurricanes, the odds of a home being damaged due to flooding are greater than being damaged by fire. So Flood Insurance is a necessary expense and for those with a home with a first floor elevation below the 100 year statistical level, purchasing flood insuance on the contents is also advisable. No, I'm not selling insurance, either.

Great pics - that awesome woman in the first, Ms. Kelly again with a tiarra of lights with Jerry and finally, that snorkeling canine!

But the Phily beach? The Delaware River never looked so good, possibly taken a good bit South?

Baseball games! Woo-hoo! We have an awesome minor league stadium here and the games are so much fun. Oh, and banana split flavored Dippin' Dots are the best ever. However, I don't think they have Dippin' Dots at our stadium. They do have soft serve ice cream that they serve in those nifty little hat shaped bowls like Jerry has. I had a ton of them when I was little. : )'re looking great!

your bump is so cute!!! i want one too!

Thanks for the advice! I managed to find a dressy skirt and sweater. The shindig I'm going to is for high school students who were published that year in their special forum section. I guess we're going to meet the main editors and writers!

You shoud keep your hands on your baby bump at all times so other people aren't tempted to come up and touch it! It'd be a polite "hands off!"

So, the night before you went, I went to a minor league baseball game (Whitecaps versus Lugnuts) in Grand Rapids, got (cookies and cream) dippin dots, although I didn't get the helmet because the cup was cheaper, and it had an amusement park in the parking lot.

I've never been to a baseball game before, so I'm amused that the night I do is the night before you...

Oh man, I don't think there was ever a picture so great as that last one. Priceless. Definitely desktop worthy.
And I don't know if this is really odd to say, but I'm just going to go for it- Your looking great!

I totally thought Jerry was eating a baseball cap full of coleslaw.
I'm a retard.

Awesome pictures each and every one of them. I love that little river near your house, it's beautiful. And your friend Gisela's VERY lucky to live near an empty beach. Those are the best kinds! And that first pic of you is beautiful, I love that you're wearing shades. ;o)

Take care, Kelly.

P.S. Funny that you post a picture of Jerry eating Dippin Dots, because I just had some myself today. Although mines was Strawberry flavored. And I love the way that it's served on a helmet, "Too cute."

Oh my lord!!! Lola's got quite a fanbase!

Plainsman's right, no beach in Philly would be batheable unless you WANT a third thumb growing out of your kidney or something.

The beach is Brigantine Beach, NJ, right outside of Atlantic City (and that's the city you see in the background of the pic with me and Lolz).

And like Erin said, Lola's smart enough to know my stupid whims are usually over quickly, so she knows to take them. This includes wearing clothes, bracelets on her tail, polish on her claws and, yes, scuba gear.

Plus I think she was too pooped from romping around the beach to care. Oh and the tennis ball helps. All is well in the world if she has a ball in her mouth.

PS- I thought it was cottage cheese Jerry was eating LOL. You look gorgeous!
