"Kelly! I saved some clothes for when the baby comes."
"I know. Your mom told me. I think it's very special that you want to share."
"There's skirts and dresses and ..."
"And if it's a boy, he'll be the prettiest boy in town."
(blank stare, laugh from my mother-in-law)
"Emily, do you think it's going to be a boy or a girl?"
(confused look, seemingly weighing options)
"Boy." (whispered as if it's a big secret)
"Well, you know what? If it's a boy, we'll still put him in one of your pretty skirts just for fun, okay?"
(Insane laughter and clapping)
"And I'll take pictures to show off when he starts bringing girls to the house. Because that's what good parents do."

lol! Good one.
Haha! That is hilarious. Your niece sounds adorable. You are definitely the best mom, you have to do it. But maybe wait to show the girls on the second date.
Boy, you are in trouble if the baby is not a _girl_ (remembering the pressure I got from you and your mother when I was expecting vanessa....)!!!!!!!!!!
Do you and Jerry want to find out ahead of time what it is or will you want to wait and be "surprised"?
For mine I HAD to know. There's no way I'd be able to wait.
o man.
i just have this crazy feeling it WILL be a boy.
How fun! This child is going to grow up with an amazing sense of humor.
And women wonder why all the good men are either married or Gay.
:)
(ps.... I was enamored with wearing my Mom's heels and nail polish.)
Did you ask her why she thinks it may be a boy? Maybe she can read through the belly and has guessed right...wouldn't that be funny?!? I love little kids...they say the cutest things.
Ahahaha! Those pics would be more embarrassing than the obligatory, naked-in-tub shots that all parents take! :)
Hahahaha!
haha! That's pretty much what all parents do ;)
I had Barbie roller blades and a Barbie jacket when I was about 8, and my younger brother who was 4 was in love with them. He would wear the jacket 24/7, it was so funny. Makes for some really good pictures too! :)
This is what happened to me. :[
is this your way of telling us that it IS a boy?

Cute. I think you're going to have a boy! I'm pretty sure of it. "We'll see, we'll see." Well that's if you tell us, your adoring audience here on cyberspace. ;o)
P.S. Funny Story:
A while back when I went my cousin, his wife, his baby (my cousin as well and he was much smaller) and my little sister driving somewhere we made my cousin Sammy a bit girly.
My cousin's wife put him on some lipgloss. Then what little hair he had resting on the top of his head, she put it in a ponytail. We all began to laugh it was so funny.
And my cousin was driving so he couldn't see, so he stopped the car and looked at his son with a ponytail on and lipgloss! He couldn't help but laugh. What I would've given for us to have had a camera there!!
