In the name of science

This morning I am going to be a belly guinea pig. My good friend Timberly's sister is training to become a nurse and asked if I would like to come in so her class can practice doing ultrasounds on me.

All I heard was, "Would you like to have an opportunity to look at your baby on a screen for a few hours?"

To which I replied: "DUHHH! ... Um, I mean, yes. ... Yes, please. ... Can I still come?"

Thankfully, she agreed.

26 weeks
Speaking of bellies, here is mine at 26 weeks.

What a beautiful belly! You and Jerry should do side by side belly shots.

Very cool!! That's so great that you get to see your little one for a couple hours today.

Love the belly shot!

Your post yesterady was a perfect definition of those special times, that bond some of us are lucky to both share and recognize with the four-footed ones in our homes.

Those words merit publication as a stand-alone piece in a major publication.

Your belly is so perfect! I feel like every belly shot is also a shot of my butt protruding even more in the opposite direction... I guess it helps with balance!

That is soooooo fun. I went to a bunch of nurses to do the same thing in 2005 and it was a great experience. Except they kept me for so long, they sort of forgot that I had a full pregnant bladder! Good luck.

"The Belly's" getting bigger. I love it! And what a great oppurtunity you have, to see your baby on screen for a couple of hours. Lucky you.

If only they had something out now in technology, that you could hook up from a recorder to the ultrasound machine, so you have a memory of the baby on on a VHS tape or a DVD! That would have been awesome. I would have loved to have seen that. Oh well, I hope you had a great time seeing your princess.

Take care, Kelly.

P.S. I also have to 100% agree with Rachel's comment. Your belly really is PERFECT compared to what I've seen. ;o)
