Can't sleep for crap

This sucks.

If the doctor I'm seeing this afternoon doesn't tell me I've dialated even just a little bit more than last week, I may just jam a pen in his ear.

don't worry, she will be here soon enough, the waiting is one of the toughest parts :)

Oh dear.... I hope that doesn't happen. I'll hope for more dialation.

Forget the pen, just tell the doc to swallow a tablespoon of cinnamon! LOL

Cinnamon continued...

Last night, I tried a 1/4 teaspoon to start, not tablespoon and I think the problem is both the finely ground powder and the natural reaction to the relatively bitter spice flavor that causes the natural consequences. But it must be the quantity as well as I had no problem with the way smaller amount.

A sugar chaser helps, after though! Probably can be done with a bit of practice (and the sugar or yoga). But maybe only on a bet for a new car!

The same might happen with real cocoa powder. Probably not good to get too much of this stuff in the lungs, though!

What us guys won't do in the name of scientific research.

It sounds like things are progressing much faster for you and you're feeling the effects of it. Fatigue and discomfort is definitely going to take a toll on you.

Anyway, I truly am sorry that you're having a hard time of it right now but there's nothing a doctor could really say or do for you to make it go away. Well... Except, for inducing you. However, most doctors wouldn't do an induction unless it was imperative to do so. They usually wait until the last minute to even bring that kind of option up.

Besides, it's also considered a last resort and the inducing of labor is much more painful than the natural process of labor. I should know. I was induced during my second pregnancy because my bag of water was low and my son was in distress. But your baby girl isn't in distress and you're healthy as an ox so I'd never be crazy enough to recommend it to anyone anxiously waiting to have their baby. Just hang in there, sweetie. You're almost to the finish line.

I hope he gave you good news!! Hang in there, in a couple weeks you'll have completely forgotten about it :)

That might be fun to watch. Can I come along and be a fly on the wall?

I'm sorry you can't get to sleep. Hopefully tonight you'll just hit the bed and that'll be that.

Take, care.

hope you hear good news. i can't believe your due date is getting so close.

i can't sleep either but it's due to the rude neighbors above me. they like to come home from the bar and throw stuff and jump around and stomp on the floors and yell.

so i called the cops. :D

hope you can sleep better than i. or at least more soundly.
