Champange away! Haha. =) I just hope Obama doesn't feel too overwhelmed (though it's probably impossible for him not to). I heard that before he made his speech he had a seizure. Probably from the nerves (not sure).
This is the first time since I think Carter that I've watched the inauguration. I liked his speech, and yes, I was proud to say today that I AM an American.
YAY! What a historical day! Proud here as well. The seisure was from something Ted Kennedy ate during the muncheon today, and I read he had a long seisure of some sort..not Obama.
I agree too! I had to absentee vote, but Obama all the way at this house! We're so happy, and were up til 3:30 am (Australia time) to watch all the proceedings happening in DC!
Very proud to be an American today! but no champagne today... 14 weeks pregnant and they don't let you drink ;)
No champagne here, just some sloppy beef stroganoff made with a slow-roasted roast and some Amish-made noodles. A very homey meal that kinda reflected the comfortable feeling I got from watching the proceedings.

Have found a way to see most live on TV, (always lunchtime on the East Coast); The best was the first, we were kids, home from school on a snow day when the entire east coast had about two feet of white. This one came pretty close, and I was not a fan of his to begin with, but am enthusiastic now. He needs everyone behind him so our country can right itself.
My name is Kelly. By day I run my own photography business, Kelly V. Photography. By night I'm a newspaper editor and columnist. I'm married to Jerry, a crazy radio morning show host who certainly makes life interesting. Our daughter, Allison, inherited his infectious smile. Then again, so did our dog, Toby, but don't ask me to explain that one. E-mail me at novelle360@hotmail dot com.
